I could relate this. I have a friend who has awesome gears bought from different golf stores online. He was a little too proud of his skills. He ended up losing.
Simple message - with a good point to boot. It's good to challenge yourself, but you should never try to overdo things. That would be counterproductive to your game.
Wonderful post about the basic important point to be a good player of golf while spending less time.
